Nothing going on. Didn't go to Coachella this year. Haven't done much of anything but work.

07.08.04

Damn. This last year flew by I guess. I went to Coachella last may. Pretty fun. The traffic situation out there is rediculous. I'd love to go again but they need to figure out how to get people in and out of there better.

06.27.03

So the new album is out. I didn't have all that much enthusiasm for it, but I like it so far. I really like Love-hate transimission and HWC. So that's cool.

Since I get so much email asking me what I've been upto, I will point you here. The Pocketoreilly featuring nazi screamer Bill Oreily telling everyone to just Shut up!

04.11.03

Finally got some mail besides people telling me that the PocketArnold is either the funniest thing they've ever seen, or it's the fucking worst, doesn't work and fuck you.

So this was nice although a bit impersonal... the LizPhair.com is up and has some new songs from the upcoming self titled album. Looks like its to be released on June 24th.

02.28.03

Bored. Aquired the new Massive Attack album last week. It's pretty good. Has Sinead on a couple of tracks and they aren't even the best tracks.

Cat Power is coming to Lawrence KS next month. Probably go and check that out. My luck the show'll get cancelled.

I didn't see the Grammy's but I thought it was really cool that not one single fucking musician had the guts to speak out against the Bushies and this phoney War on Everything. Good job everyone!

02.10.03

Alright Alright Alright... Ready for the bombs to fall motherfucker? Ugh. Whole thing makes me want to puke. But here's some Liz news

Assuming everything goes as planned, Liz Phair is releasing a new album this spring entitled "Happy Tragic Times'. There's a song floating around out there called "Take a look". I had it, but right now can't find it. Instead here's a link to a really good Sinead O'connor / James song called "I Defeat".

08.08.02

No news is No News. Nothing is going on. Got the new Breeders album. Haven't listened to it much. Can't believe that there are 2 songs from the Amps album on it. That's probably why I never play it.

Went a saw Tool again a couple of weeks ago. That was pretty good.

Have you listened to KEXP.org? It's a radio station out of Seattle that plays a lot of good music and they have a webcast. Give it a listen, you'll probably find some new artists.

02.28.02

Thanks to a kind reader of this site I found out about this. Sheryl Crow's new single features backing vocals by Liz Phair. You can listen to it here http://www.sherylcrow.com/news.asp?newsID=4895. Coincidentally, I was watching the movie Minus Man starring Owen Wilson last night, and Sheyrl Crow was in it and she got killed.

01.02.02

Happy New Years! Will it be worse than the last? Probably but let's hope not.
In other news, Liz Phair was in some Gap commercials over the holidays. The commerical was on AdCritic.com but now that they're a FuckedCompany, they've had to take their site down.

08.21.01

Man, I was poking around through my links section the other day and almost every Liz Phair site has disappeared. Shame, but I guess that's what happens when you never release new shit, don't tour, or if you do tour you cancel a lot.

07.13.01

There's a new Liz Phair video and song available here.http://www.thedirectorsbureau.com/archive_vault/ascher/archpop_ra_mvid.asp#. It's pretty good. Something new at least.

I dunno.... I heard that the new Breeders album is supposed to come out this fall. Hope it's good. You ever notice that almost everything sucks? It's true.

Hrrmmmm... What else? PoisonSkin has put up a whole page of our available PocketProducts. Check it out here. The PocketArnold one is probably the best but they're all decent.

09.12.00

Still no fucking news. Plus nobody looks at this site so what the fuck. Here's something that I made last week though if you want to check it out. It's called the PocketHAL. It's like a magic 8 ball but you ask the questions to HAL from 2001. Check it out here

03.2.00

News? Good Lord. News? Here's some news. The new album is going to be delayed.

12.29.99

There is no news, but I did add a little Liz Phair icon at the top of the screen. If your using IE 4.0 and up, you can drag the image around the screen with your mouse. If your using Netscape I suggest uninstalling it.

12.03.99

The new Liz Phair album has a title "An Evening With.." and is expected to be released in Spring of 2000. Also the new Alternative Press has named said album as one of the most anticipated of the up coming year. But besides that there isn't shit coming out next year. A new fucking Limp Bizkuit! Great! More Marilyn Manson! But no mention of either Tool or A Perfect Circle or that fucking Breeders album that's never going to come out.

11.30.99

Hooray! I finally got hate mail.

thank you for your suggestions of cult of liz phair dorks. get your own damn personalities. ever hear of different tastes. i bet you've never even heard a whole verve album. get a life.

In honor of hearing that Bettie Serveert played a cover of 'Divorce Song' the other night, I am posting my personal favorite Serveert song for your exclusive enjoyment. Click here

9.20.99

This is uncomfirmed but it looks like Liz Phair will be playing on the Tonight Show on Sept. 30th. Plus she'll be playing on KCRW 89.9FM's "Morning Becomes Eclectic". You can listen to it live here in fabulous Real Audio.

8.19.99

Vote Today Somehow this site got nominated for the best Alternative Fan Site from Artist Direct and the people behind the great UBL.com Show your support for Liz Phair and got vote today. You have to register to be eligible but other than that it's not to much of a pain in the ass, plus you get to be entered in the contest for a free trip to L.A. But the real point is we don't want to loose to Sarah McLachlan. Vote Here.

8.10.99 We've added the full live show from Catspaw studios in Atlanta Georgia from 4.28.95. You can find it in our Audio section.
8.2.99 It's list time again already. Liz got in the 90's for the 100 greatest woman of rock and roll according to VH1. Also in the lower 90's were Kims Deal and Gordon.

Seems like every fucking music mag is having their annual greatest album of 90's time. So anyhow, Spin wisely gave Liz credit for Exile in Guyville. They had some other good selections in there, PJ Harvey, Rage, Nirvana, ect. But no Tool. I don't know what Spin's fucking problem is but they just seem to hate Tool. Ænima is one of the best albums ever.

7.13.99 Finally some real Breeders news. I took this from the Phair mailing list. Breeders info
7.6.99 Saw this today in Alternative Press. The new Breeders album will be released sometime after the year 2000 hits. This album is never coming out and when it does it'll be like a half hour long. And there is a new Tool album on the way.
6.12.99 Somebody emailed me and asked what I thought of the new Star Wars movie. I thought it was retarded.
6.03.99

FrogPond Not really Liz Phair news, but the best band you haven't heard of yet just released their second album this week entitled Safe Ride Home. We're going to do you a favor. You can download a sample song named I Did and you'll love it and then want to buy the album. DownLoad

5.18.99 Sometime in the near future Liz Phair may be singing 'Take Me Out To the Ball Game' for the Chicago Cubs. Maybe someone will get a copy of it, maybe somebody won't. You never can tell.
5.07.99 There's a new site featuring some really good rare Liz Phair songs, including a Monkey's cover and some new demos. Visit it here, or in our links section. It's kind of hard to download from sometimes, if anybody is finding it impossible to download, email us and we'll hook you up with the files.
4.29.99 Well, aparently Liz Phair is going to make it out to the Big Lilith this year. She'll be playing Aug. 14, 17, 18. But still no Breeders. PoisonSkin is getting a little sick of having to wait around for the new Breeders album to come out. Do you realize that Last Splash was released 6 years ago? Six! That's way to long.
4.27.99 Lilith Fair has announced this year's line up. It's the usual suspects, Sarah McLachlan, Shawn Colvin, Indigo Girls. Some of the more interesting acts are Beth Orton, the Pretenders, and Queen Latifa. But no Liz Phair this year. Lilith Fair really should have contacted Kim Deal to get the Breeders out of hibernation and shake up the terminally precious Lilith Fair.
4.16.99 This is still a ways off, but Sessions at 54th is going to re-run Liz Phair's apperance on July 3rd. We'll mention it again as the date nears. Also, PJ Harvey's apperance is going to be rebroadcast on July 31. So there you go, you've got something to look forward to.
4.14.99 The new Lilith Fair albums are going to be released on May 18th. Liz Phair is on Volume 3 with a live version of "Never Said" and Sinead O'Connor kicks off Volume 2 with a recording of "Fire on Babylon".
4.13.99 Hasen't really been any news for a while. PoisonSkin just bought a copy of The Last Rock Star Book or : Liz Phair, a Rant by Camden Joy. Haven't started reading it yet. Probably make an audio update soon.
3.28.99 Going on Tour. That's what Liz Phair has planned for the near future, and if your lucky she might be coming to your town. Doesn't seem like she's making up the dates that got blown off from the fall '98 tour. Oh well, guess I don't get to see her in this life time. A complete listing can be found here.
3.22.99 Liz Phair played a show at the Lounge Ax night club the other night. You can read a review of it here.
3.12.99 Liz Phair is going to start appearing in some Calvin Klein ads this month. That should be exciting.
2.23.99 Rolling Stone is going to broadcast a Liz Phair concert on 3.10.99.
2.10.99 Word has it that the upcoming Lilith Fair compilation will include some of Liz Phair's performance. Hopefully some Sinead O'Connor will get thrown on there to.
2.8.99 PoisonSkin posts new Liz Phair WebSite OnLine.
